About the artwork printed on this bandana

The print on this illustration bandana is originating in the well-received motif “Lemon Cockatoos” by E. A. Séguy. Created in 1897, it shows white cockatoos (also spelled “cacadoo” or “cockatoo”) in a playful and whimsical manner, with the orange bonnets adding a touch of cheer and color. Cockatoos are a type of parrot known for their distinctive crest of feathers on their heads, which can be raised or lowered depending on their mood. They are native to Australia and the surrounding islands. The yellow lemons and slightly green leaves serve as a backdrop for the birds, and add a sense of freshness and vitality to the overall design. Otherwise, the color palette is mostly recognized for its accurate shades of yellow, white and orange.
