About the artwork printed on this t-shirt
The motif on this ukiyo-e t-shirt is having its source in the admired ukiyo-e motif “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai. Created in 1830, it shows a large wave threatening to engulf three boats off the coast of the town of Kanagawa (which is now known as Yokohama).
