The print on this ukiyo-e crop tee is derived from the notorious motif “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai. Created in 1830, it shows a massive wave towering over a small fishing village; with Mount Fuji visible in the distance. The wave is depicted in great detail; with the crest of the wave being particularly prominent and dramatic.
